Every one of us has fantasized of being invisible at some point in our lives. This potential was a popular fantasy in many books and films. Consider the tales written by J. K. Rowling or H. G. Wells. However, as you will soon see, science fiction can quickly turn into reality.
The term “Quantum Stealth” was recently created by a Canadian business named Hyperstealth. Although it is rather pricey, it is as thin as paper, requires no power source, and also renders you invisible.
As you can imagine, it doesn’t work as well as those described in the Harry Potter books, however, it does a good job of concealing whatever or whoever lies behind it.
This invisibility device is made of a material that operates like lenticular lenses, in that way, an illusion is projected where the perception of an object to human eyes, changes depending on how you look at it.
Snell’s law of physics is the basis for how this device functions. Meaning that every substance has a unique refractive index, which is essentially a comparison of the speed of light in the substance to the speed of light in a vacuum.
