Academics from local universities are studying the creature, but so far have not been able to identify the organism.
A heavy rain hit the Marrickville region of Sydney, Australia, and with it an \’a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳\’ creature was found in the middle of the street.
Harry Hayes went for a run last Monday (28) and came across an unknown figure.
According to Harry, the creature\’s appearance is that of an embryo, but he firmly believes it could be an a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳. According to NDTV, academics from local universities are studying the creature, but so far have not been able to identify the organism.
“My gut says it\’s some kind of embryo, but with Covid and World War III and the floods [which are happening right now] this could very well be an a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳,” he said.
The image circulated on social media and left people curious.
“Shark embryo maybe? Or some other sea creature,” one person speculated. “This is an a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳,” said another.
Biologist Ellie Elissa posted a photo of the creature on Instagram, asking for help identifying the organism.
“What is it? I thought possum/glider embryo but I have no context or scale and none of my colleagues can agree,” she wrote.
So far, no one has been able to identify what kind of creature it is.
